Chef Jongwon Son at L’Amant Secret, chef Hyunah Seong at Sona and I are all the Culinary Institute of America alumni. Chef Son first suggested what if we do a collaboration dinner. Naturally, New York came up as a thyme. We started conversations since May. Many ideas came back and forth. We decided to highlight New York classic signature bites, street food, or iconic dishes converting to our own style.

Right before the event, covid level 4 was announced. and it postponed. never gets better.

I offered them to force the event opening. it wasn’t easy, but we needed to make it happen.

Guests liked it. Nespresso supported. We ended up well.
